Tell us about yourself and what do you do?
I’m the head of Real Estate, Construction and Facilities for the nation’s largest fragrance specialty retailer with approximately 350 stores nationwide. Over the course of my career I’ve been fortunate in having the opportunity to work for both developers and retailers.
What will you be covering at your RECon session and what should people expect to learn?
We’re going to take a rudimentary glance into a retailer’s Profit & Loss Statement to help dealmakers gain a better understanding of their economic considerations. Attendees will walk through several salient components to help broaden their perspective.
What is your best advice for RECon newbies?
If you’re walking the show, wear comfortable shoes! Also with the expansive layout, planning your meetings by location is key as it can take you close to 30 minutes to walk from one side to the other. Lastly, networking is paramount to your future success and can change your RECon experience significantly. Make a few key peer contacts early on and take on the show (day or night) together. No one wants to go to cocktail parties alone and being able to network with one another’s existing contacts while there will further expand your reach.
