Q&A with #RECon14 Speaker Sherry-Ann Hoilette

Sherry-Ann PhotoTell us about yourself and what do you do?

I have been with CCR for 6 years.  I have been the Small Store/Combo Area Sales Manager for almost a year.  In my personal time I enjoy hiking, travelling and entertaining at home.  I have been involved in the community with a few charities and events such as, Make a Wish Foundation, Catholic Charities, Nevada Reading week and Reading Partners (Reading to classrooms).

What will you be covering at your #HappinessLounge #RECon14 session and what should people expect to learn?

I will be talking about Coca-Cola’s Commitment to the Community at the #HappinessLounge.  At Coca-Cola, we recognize that our success depends on the success and vitality of the communities in which we operate. Come learn more about how Coca-Cola supports community initiatives such as education, diversity and inclusion and active healthy living.

What new technologies are you excited about and why?

From a professional perspective we have grown immensely in our use of technology in the past few years.  I am excited about many of our tools and programs.  It is very convenient for us now to access DASH offline from our iPhones and tablets in the field.  This tool gives the sales team access to sales information and also contains valuable selling tools such as the Homemarket Gameplan .  Personally and from a business perspective I am excited about Hybrid technology.  I drive a hybrid vehicle and know of many other people in our organization who do.  We also have hybrid vehicles in the fleet.  This is exciting to me because I consider myself and our organization socially responsible and this shows that we are taking steps toward taking care of our planet.

What is your favorite social network to use and Why?

My favorite social network is still Facebook.  It’s been popular for a while so there are a lot of people from all age groups involved (My grandmother and my high school aged cousins are on it).  It make it easy to keep in contact with friends and family who may live far away.

What is your favorite mobile app to use and why? Business or personal?

My favorite mobile app that I use for business is “OneNote” it makes it easy to make notes in the field, share them and upload them.  My director makes all of his notes accessible online and I can go one and adjust the notes and tell him which tasks are completed.  My favorite mobile app that I use in my personal life is “MyFitnessPal”.  I have it synced to my Fitbit and I use it to track all of my physical activity and calories.  It helps me to balance my diet and live a healthy lifestyle.
